Dressing etiquette is the message we pass with our dressing. Communicating the wrong message is a trend among women.
         Showing some skin and feeling yourself is no bad decision,But when the showing off becomes too revealing , one tend to pass the wrong message. Do you know that what you wear can exploit the powerful sex drive of the human body? This is not to succumb to the idea of "a reason for rape".
       You will be addressed the way you dress, women have a key role to play in the societal level of morality,we are the corner stone, the substance, the nervous system of what a society becomes morally.
        Cloth is what provides sufficient covering for the body, anything you buy, regardless of the cost,that does not perform that function, defeats the essence of a cloth, a cloth may not serve the reason of a cloth to you, but can serve that purpose of a cloth for another person. Give it out if it no longer fits, for a better society where women are respected, we must earn that respect. Our dressing is one way to earn it.
   

Breaking the silence on rape

Do you know that rape is sex you did not consent to?

Do you know that your boyfriend and even your girlfriend  can commit rape against you,as long as you did not consent to having sex?

Do you know that by speaking out and reporting rape cases, can help tackle the injustice?

Do you know that the Nigerian constitution  stated that " life imprisonment is the punishment to be served by anyone proven to be a rapist?

Do you know that, rape victims are to report the ordeal as soon as possible to a nearby police station for action?

millenium development goal versus men without women syndrome

The millennium development goals are eight international development goals, established in 2000 by the United states. These goals were aimed at being accomplished before 2015, 189 united nation members were part of the drafting of this goal, including Nigeria.
          The third goal was "promote gender equality" this is 2015, this is Nigeria, and my question is, did we really attain this goal?
        Daily times on  Friday,March 26th 2015, stated thus," the number of women elected to public offices in Nigeria may not increase significantly after this year's election. Analyses by premium times have shown that ,the representation of women seeking the office of governor and deputy governor stands at 87 out of 380 candidates (22.9 percent) while senatorial seat we have, 122 women out of 747 candidates (16 percent were cleared by inec to run for the post). In the house of Representatives, we had 267 women out of 1774 candidates(15 percent
   Amidst this, after the election it is clear fact that women still recorded more loosers than winners. Women must reinforce, 2019 is not far. Solidarity is the way forward.

No matter how we act, like all is well,the truth remains that all is not politically well for Nigerian women, do you remember the first Nigerian woman that came out for the presidential seat, women like you and I, rallied around, claimed to be supporting her dreams and aspiration for Nigeria, on the election day,in a country of more than a 100 million people, with statistics showing that we have more women than men,she got just one vote, which obviously was her own vote, am guilty just as you, compare women participation in all political post to that of men,is it the legislative,executive,judiciary, federal level, state level or even local government level. politics is a beneficial game, you vote a person of your kind, who share same goals and aspiration with you, we women are a kind, no matter how we try to explain it, we must fight for our course to be heard, we must show the world that the milk our breast Produces does not weaken our strength, it does not drain our brains, we are as fit as the men . For a better society women must support fellow women, we must help each other grow, for our society to utilize it's full potential, we must gain ground in the political realm.

When such words like, do whatever makes u happy, am not stopping you from doing what you like, you can never cope with me, and other words alike, mind u, u are being eased out, yes I know it hurts,feel free to cry, strong women cry, you are human, if being sober,or crying can make u feel better, do it. But do not make it take long and cut short d few years you have to make impact on the world, stand upright, look at yourself in a mirror and say I am better and strong,know it was not worth it, forgive yourself, and step up to becoming a even more better woman.the lesson for all women today is "discipline your. emotion". If you must become a happy  woman
